Compensation: $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS
Employment Type: Full Time - 34 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:40 AM to 5:15 PM

The individual in this role will play a crucial part during patient visits, working closely with dermatologists to enhance the patient experience and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
- Rooming patients and accurately documenting vital information
- Assisting dermatologists by scribing necessary information
- Providing post-operative wound care
- Performing blood draws and suture removals
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of exam rooms
- Scheduling patient appointments efficiently
Assisting Dermatologists with Procedures:
- Surgical photography
- Biopsies (punch, DIF, and shave)
- Surgical excisions
- Electrodessication and curettage
- Incision and drainage (I&D)
- Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery
- Phototherapy
- Injections
- Koh preps
- Trichograms
- Tzank preps
- Dermabrasion
- Patch testing
- Blue light therapy
Qualifications:
Education Requirements:
Candidates must possess a minimum of post-high school education in a medical support field, such as Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse. Non-Certified Medical Assistants are required to complete the Forefront Derm Tech certification program within the designated timeframe and maintain certification thereafter.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office setting is preferred
- Must maintain current state certifications, licenses, and/or registrations
- Willingness to travel to various clinic locations as necessary
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, clients, and visitors
- Capable of multitasking, prioritizing effectively, and working both independently and as part of a team
