Responsibilities

  • Select and manage outside counsel, reviewing and revising pleadings and motions, working with counsel and in-house management on litigation and settlement strategy, assisting with discovery and preparation for trials, arbitrations, and mediations, and reviewing appellate briefs.
  • Manage junior attorneys and litigation specialists performing paralegal functions.
  • Regularly update electronic case files.
  • Timely review and approve law firm invoices.
  • Manage litigation department expenses.
  • Prepare reporting for senior management, as well as for investors, insurers, lenders, regulators, and for capital market transactions.
  • Interact with all levels of management within the organization.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that align with the organization's accountable, reliable, and ethical values and principles.
