Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Back End Developer to enhance our dynamic engineering team. This role involves being a pivotal contributor in the development and management of API endpoints that are essential for our coding and deployment processes.

Key Duties:

  • Design, implement, and maintain API endpoints with well-defined routes and structured request and response formats.
  • Oversee data management tasks including storage, retrieval, and validation within our database systems.
  • Enhance backend code and optimize database queries to boost API performance.
  • Administer API versioning to facilitate updates while ensuring backward compatibility.
  • Establish effective error handling and logging protocols to streamline debugging processes.
  • Track API usage and performance metrics to pinpoint and resolve potential bottlenecks.
  • Create thorough documentation for all API endpoints to support development and usage.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in PHP full stack development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of backend technologies and server-side programming languages.
  • Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, Git, MySQL, Node, Apache, Docker, AWS, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities and skills in performance optimization.
  • Experience in developing authenticated APIs and estimating project timelines.
