We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Staff Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure understanding and compliance with care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration records, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Work Environment:
This position is located in a hospital setting and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team-based environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
