Job Summary:

The Advanced Practice Provider will work in a fast-paced occupational health setting, providing medical services to employees and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and developing treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical evaluations
  • Diagnose and treat medical conditions, including musculoskeletal and respiratory issues
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and rehabilitation
  • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing or California Physician Assistant License
  • Current certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or American Association of Nurse Practitioners
  • Recent experience in occupational health or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience in workers' compensation or injured worker episodic care
  • Knowledge of occupational health regulations and guidelines
