About the Role
We are seeking a Ready Mix Driver to safely deliver ready mix concrete to various local locations. As a driver, you will be responsible for the safety of yourself and others as well as the quality, quantity and desired slump of each load of concrete.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle safety inspections daily to ensure that equipment is safe to operate
- Maintain driver logs and timecards within DOT guidelines
- Deliver concrete safely and efficiently to various locations
- Maintain clean and safe trucks
- Operate vehicles at a safe speed, maintain proper following distance, and be aware of hazards (defensive driving)
Requirements and Qualifications
- Tanker endorsement required
- Minimum of 6 months driving experience with commercial license
- Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license
- Clean driving record with no reckless driving offenses, DUIs, etc.
- No more than 1.5 active points in the last 36 months
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Ability to work from elevated platforms, climb ladders, and lift up to 60lbs
- Manual and automatic transmissions available
