Position Overview:

In this position, you will have the chance to enhance and maintain RF test automation systems tailored for aerospace and defense initiatives. Our automation solutions streamline the RF testing and calibration processes for our products, which encompass controlling the device under evaluation, RF testing apparatus, switch matrices, thermal chambers, and temperature plates, as well as executing RF measurements and managing data collection, storage, and processing. This role requires collaboration with both hardware and software components, necessitating strong RF testing and programming expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain RF test automation hardware and software.
  • Design, assemble, and validate innovative RF test systems for production use.
  • Create automation tools for RF and digital engineers during the product development lifecycle.
  • Upgrade and maintain existing test systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 6-8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Expertise in RF testing equipment, including:
    • Signal Generators
    • Spectrum Analyzers
    • Network Analyzers
    • Noise Figure Meters
  • Proficient in RF measurements such as:
    • Gain
    • VSWR
    • IMD
    • P1dB
    • Spurious
    • Phase Noise
  • Strong laboratory skills, including soldering and mechanical assembly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Skilled in programming languages such as C#, F#, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with collaborative software tools like Git, Bitbucket, and Jira.
  • Must possess a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.
  • Experience with SQL and database management.

Additional Information:

This role requires the ability to obtain or maintain a government security clearance, which is available only to U.S. citizens.
