We are currently seeking a temporary/part-time (20 hours per week) Licensed Physical Therapist to support rehabilitation efforts in correctional settings across the state of Minnesota.
The role of the Physical Therapist is crucial in helping patients regain or maintain their independence and physical capabilities. This is achieved through the implementation of medically prescribed treatment plans aimed at alleviating pain and preventing further disability.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required.
- A valid and active Physical Therapy license in Minnesota is essential.
- Current CPR certification and tuberculosis documentation are mandatory.
- Experience in corrections, forensic settings, or criminal justice is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to pass a security clearance, including a criminal background check, is necessary.
