About the Role

Rivermont Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavioral Therapist to join our team. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing behavioral services to students and supporting teachers and classroom staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect behavioral services to students, including individual and group settings
  • Supervise and support assigned RBTs, BTs, and other classroom leaders and support personnel
  • Oversight of student ABA programs, including paraprofessional support
  • Assess students to identify learning and program needs, develop initial programming, and modify programs as needed
  • Provide direct intervention, instruction, and supervision to classroom support personnel
  • Monitor program progress, provide daily progress reporting, and data analysis
  • Create functional behavior assessments, behavior intervention plans, and social skills assessments
  • Provide consultation to teachers and other behavior support personnel
  • Develop behavior strategies, IEP goals, and data collection tools
  • Provide instruction for Response to Intervention (RTI) and Behavioral Skills Training (BST)
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • 2 years' experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with special needs
