About the Role

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in Milford, Delaware. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing evaluation, treatment, and education to patients with speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in patients aged birth to 18.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
  • Provide speech and feeding therapy to patients, including assessment, intervention, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or its equivalent from an ASHA-accredited university.
  • Minimum of three (3) to six (6) months experience in speech-language pathology, with new graduates considered based on educational experiences.
  • State of Delaware Speech Pathologist License required upon hire.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in-process with goal of achieving CCC-SLP within 10-12 months.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) required within 6 months of date of hire and must be maintained for duration of employment.
