Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Oakland, CA. This role involves providing essential speech and language services to students, helping them overcome communication challenges and thrive in their academic and social environments.

About the Role:

This full-time position requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California. A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals. They will also participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to discuss student progress and recommend speech and language goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities to identify areas of need.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Collaborate with educational teams to support students' communication development.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • CA state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred).
  • Clinical Fellows welcome.
  • Experience in a school setting or working with children (preferred).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
