Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist to work with our team in a short-term acute care hospital setting. As a Traveling Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing mammography procedures with precision and accuracy.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members, ensuring a positive patient experience.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes, maintaining accurate records.
  • Administer medications as ordered, with proper documentation and adherence to hospital policies.
  • Transport patients as needed, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Mammography Technologist, with a strong background in mammography procedures.
  • Certifications may be required for this position, depending on the facility.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as follow verbal instructions.
  • Physical abilities include remaining in a stationary position, moving about, and moving equipment (up to 50 lbs), pushing, pulling, and bending.
