About the Role:
The Clinic Nursing and Quality Supervisor is an integral member of the clinic leadership team, bringing professional nursing expertise to the group and upholding clinical practice standards. Responsibilities include overseeing clinical staff performance, coaching, mentoring, developing, and implementing clinical best practices. This position also ensures state and federal compliance and clinical support patient care services are provided efficiently and safely. You will provide direct patient care at top of RN scope of practice, analyzing patient data with an understanding of cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial, spiritual, and chronological maturation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical staff performance and implement best practices
- Collaborate with healthcare team members for comprehensive clinical oversight
- Ensure state and federal compliance and clinical support patient care services
- Provide direct patient care at top of RN scope of practice
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate Nursing degree with 3 years recent RN experience. Grad from accredited school. BSN preferred. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association, Oregon Registered Nurse License, Washington Registered Nurse License (for locations in Washington), Completion of an ONS approved Chemotherapy course, Maintain certification - Cancer Center Infusion East, Infusion, Transfusion Chemotherapy, Outpatient Transfusion. Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) preferred, Maintain certification - Lactation Postpartum, Postpartum Care Center. 3 years RN experience managing complex patients or successful completion of RN Ambulatory Residency program. Experience providing clinical education to clinical support staff within an outpatient/ambulatory care/medical group environment, including medical assistant, nurses and related clinical positions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an ambulatory setting. 3 years demonstrated experience with providing progressive leadership, clinical staff education, competency development and evaluation, staff training and performance evaluation. 3 years experience providing patient education.
