Lead Preceptor RN Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Henry Ford Health System. As a Lead Preceptor RN, you will play a critical role in providing direct nursing care to patients, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, including assessing and coordinating patient care plans, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including developing and implementing individualized care plans, and monitoring patient progress and outcomes.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, including coordinating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, including developing and implementing discharge plans, and coordinating with community resources and services.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
