We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room First Assistant to provide clinical expertise and ensure high-quality, efficient care in a surgical environment.

As a Registered Nurse First Assist, you will work under the supervision of the director/manager or designee to provide holistic, individualized patient care in response to identified needs.

The ideal candidate will have a BSN/MSN, Texas State RN License or compact License, completion of an accredited course in RN First Assistant, CRNFA, and Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Job Summary and Qualifications:

  • BSN/MSN Preferred
  • Texas State RN License or compact License
  • Completion of an accredited course in RN First Assistant including didactic and preceptor training
  • CRNFA required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
