Job Summary:

The Cashier is a key member of the Reef Technology Inc. team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless parking experience for guests. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, handling ticketing, payments, and providing assistance with any questions or concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns.
  • Issue and collect visitor parking tickets, matching them to the correct rate schedule.
  • Collect payment from visitors and distribute correct change.
  • Complete lost ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of receipts, cash, and charges.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
  • Answer telephone calls in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to verbally communicate with guests.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.

Physical Demands:

The Cashier will frequently operate small office equipment and stand for extended periods of time. The work environment is outdoors, and employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather.
