Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate PET and Nuclear Medicine Equipment: Safely and effectively operate PET and Nuclear Medicine equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare Patients for Imaging: Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
  • Maintain Equipment and Supplies: Maintain equipment and supplies, including cleaning and calibrating equipment, and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Collaborate with healthcare team members, including radiologists, nurses, and other technologists, to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay current with industry developments, including new technologies and best practices, to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • 2+ Years of Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferably in Nuclear Medicine.
  • National Certifications: National certifications, including ARRT N and NMTCB CNMT.
  • BLS Certification: BLS certification.
  • Preferred Skills: Preferred skills include drawing venous blood, previous charge experience, teaching hospital experience, and EPIC.
Work Environment
  • Shift Schedule: 5X8 day variable shift schedule, with start times varying between 7am-9am Monday-Friday.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 guaranteed hours per week.
  • Weekend and On-Call Requirements: No weekend or on-call requirements.
