Job Title: Quality Chief Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Chief Inspector to join our team at Dow Aero, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our repair station operations, maintaining the highest standards of airworthiness and quality of aircraft parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain training programs for quality control personnel.
  • Ensure that all quality control activities are documented and recorded in accordance with company policies and FAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in quality control or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IA Certificate preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and other software applications.
Work Environment:

The Quality Chief Inspector will work in a climate-controlled office environment, with occasional visits to the shop and warehouse areas. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Travel Requirements:

The position requires occasional travel, up to 10% of the time.
