As a Registered Nurse on our Neuro Unit at Mercy Hospital Southeast, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients with complex neurological conditions. Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate and personalized care, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN licensure in the state of hire and/or compact licensure.
- 1 year of RN experience, preferably in a neurology or neuroscience setting.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
- Additional certifications may be required based on the position/unit.
