We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our Relief Hospitalist team at Cone Health Medical Group. As a Relief Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and medical supervision to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care to assigned areas, including medical supervision of the interdisciplinary team and supervision of residents and medical students.
- Participate in clinical research projects and provide accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Model and uphold professional standards of Cone Health, including Medical Staff By-Laws, Service Excellence commitments, and practice standards.
- Participate in medical audits, quality improvement programs, and peer review to ensure safe practice standards and regulatory compliance.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from a Medical School recognized by the North Carolina Medical Board.
- Completed residency training and board certification in the primary medical specialty (or subspecialty) for which the Practitioner is applying for Clinical Privileges.
- Fully licensed to practice Medicine in the state of NC and meets requirements of the Moses Cone Health System Medical Staff by-laws.
