We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Mountain Vista Medical Center. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Protect life and property of all persons on hospital premises
  • Patrol hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism
  • Secure, unlock, and protect hospital buildings
  • Respond to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors
  • Participate in performance improvement activities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to obtain state-required security officer credentials
  • 2-5 years of experience in the field of law enforcement, security operations, or a related field
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds
  • Demonstrated ability to function calmly and competently in high stress situations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Current BLS or CPI certification
  • Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
