Cath Lab Technologist Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Pequannock Township, NJ.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to provide exceptional patient care and support in our state-of-the-art catheterization laboratory. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating medical equipment, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate medical equipment, such as fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices, to assist with procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians and nurses, to ensure effective patient care and communication.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to healthcare teams.
  • Administer medications as ordered and document patient information accurately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by healthcare teams, including maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One to three years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Basic life support certification and any other required certifications for this position.
