Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled maintenance and perform both minor and major repairs on light and highway vehicles, as well as earthmoving equipment.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical issues.
  • Maintain precise records of all repairs and servicing activities.
  • Exhibit a willingness to acquire new skills.
  • Request necessary spare parts as needed.
  • Assist in the assembly of specialized equipment.

To excel in this position, you should possess the following skills, attributes, and qualifications:

  • Experience with heavy vehicles is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in documenting, recording, and tracking the servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
  • Demonstrated commitment to occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Trade experience in a similar role within the heavy industry or civil sector.
  • HR license is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Reliable, honest, and possesses a strong work ethic.
  • Physically fit, with the flexibility to work from various locations as required.
