The Sales Support Representative reporting directly to the Sales Support Manager is responsible for meeting all sales and merchandising standards in their assigned accounts. This role will train in the tasks of Merchandising and Sales, providing the opportunity to grow into a sales representative when fully trained and showing proficiency in sales.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing sales and merchandising support to assigned accounts.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
  • Training in tasks of Merchandising and Sales.
  • Maintaining regular call frequency to assigned off-premise accounts with the buyers.
  • Developing business relationships with customers and discussing sales trends.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree and/or equivalent training and work experience in Sales or Business.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales, or retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and write at a 12th grade level.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Work Environment:

This role requires working in an office environment with occasional travel to customer sites. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lift, load, unload, and move product that weighs up to 50 lbs.

Salary: $42,000 - $46,000 per year (approximately $20.00 - $22.00 per hour)
