Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to fill a position at Irwin Army Community Hospital (IACH) in Ft Riley, KS. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will be responsible for performing bio-psychosocial evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing psychological counseling to patients. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping us deliver top-notch care to those who serve our country.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct Bio-Psychosocial Evaluations: You will conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status, identifying underlying issues and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Using your extensive knowledge of psychology and human behavior, you will create personalized plans tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and circumstances.
  • Provide Psychological Counseling: As a licensed clinical psychologist, you will provide evidence-based interventions, guidance, and support to help patients overcome their challenges and achieve optimal mental well-being.
  • Evaluate Effectiveness: Regularly assessing the outcomes of your work, you will refine your approach as needed to ensure the highest quality of care.
Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Degree: Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
  • Licensure: Current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction.
  • Experience: At least one year of specialized experience in conducting bio-psychosocial evaluations, developing behavioral health treatment plans, and providing psychological counseling.
