About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team at EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely delivery of our line of services to multiple customers within an assigned geographic territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs per work order requirements, adhering to company procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
  • Conduct minor plumbing maintenance, including unclogging toilets and drains, repairing leaks, and replacing fixtures as needed.
  • Perform routine painting, carpentry work, and other tasks to maintain our clients' facilities in like-new condition.
  • Complete service inspections and asset inspections as needed, utilizing technology to access and complete work orders, create service reports, and submit timesheets and expense reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining timely and consistent communications with customers and internal support teams.
  • Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete tasks, and complete other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant professional experience in landscaping, trades, or specialty floor care.
  • Two to five years of mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • Applicable certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write routine reports, and effectively present information in individual and small group settings.
  • Ability to use and operate handheld devices and business systems, including Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
Work Environment

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high places, fumes or airborne particles, and outside weather conditions.
