Job Title: Flour Blender

At Archer Daniels Midland Company, we are seeking a skilled Flour Blender to join our team. As a Flour Blender, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our flour products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor bin space and properly bin flour to maintain efficient production processes.
  • Blend flour to meet customer specifications, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.
  • Take blend line and mill samples to monitor the flour specifications and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean work environment in your department, adhering to all safety and quality policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including working different shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and quality control procedures.
  • Strong attendance and safety performance are mandatory, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Strong safety aptitude and work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to quality and detail, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Moderate computer experience is a plus, with the ability to use software applications and tools to support production processes.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
