Vista del Mar Hospital is seeking a skilled Expressive Arts Therapist to join our interdisciplinary treatment team. As a member of our team, you will conduct groups for adult and adolescent patients, utilizing various therapeutic approaches including exercise, animal-assisted therapy, art, music, and dance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct groups for adult and adolescent patients
- Develop and implement therapeutic plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team
- Provide education and training to patients and staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in therapy-related field or Master's degree in Expressive Therapies
- Prefer at least 1 year of experience working on an inpatient psychiatric program or in mental health field
- Eligible for professional certification, licensure with state or national professional affiliation preferred
