Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will be responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of activities aimed at ensuring product quality throughout production and distribution processes, while adhering to ISO standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 certification standards.
  • Collaborate with the F&W Department and Quality Inspectors to maintain compliance and develop new ISO procedures.
  • Manage and coordinate internal audits effectively.
  • Review documentation related to manufacturing processes to guarantee the delivery of quality products.
  • Draft and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct tests to verify product compliance with company and ISO standards.
  • Facilitate the customer complaint process and perform audits as necessary.
  • Utilize quality tools and data analysis to identify root causes of quality issues and areas for improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Prepare for audits and inspections, resolving any findings and liaising with auditors.
  • Oversee production processes to ensure product conformity.
  • Evaluate and enhance quality assurance standards.
  • Develop and implement improvements to the manufacturing QA processes.
  • Provide training related to the Quality Assurance System as needed.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 certification requirements.
  • 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance or control within a manufacturing setting.
  • Internal Auditor training is required.
  • Proven leadership experience is essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Work environment may be loud and non-climate controlled.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
