Position Overview
The Operating Room Nurse Manager will:
  • Report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer
  • Oversee the Operating Room, Procedure Rooms, Preoperative Assessment, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Sterile Processing Department, and Scheduling
  • Manage all surgical specialties, excluding cardiac and ophthalmic procedures
  • Be an ideal candidate with significant surgical experience and a knack for relationship management and business operations
  • Handle approximately 4,000 surgical cases each year

  • Establish protocols for timely surgical starts, turnover efficiency, and physician performance metrics
  • Enhance engagement among staff and physicians
  • Assess requirements for an additional surgical suite
