Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture client relationships; oversee project scope, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance for surveying projects from initial proposal to final deliverables.
  • Supervise survey operations to ensure that performance objectives are met.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with project team members, providing clear instructions to survey support staff.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology and program changes.
  • Conduct calculations for field teams and mapping as required.
  • Research and compile project information prior to commencing work.
  • Examine deeds and research materials to facilitate survey production.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to timelines and budgets, addressing any issues with the Supervisor as necessary.
  • Manage office personnel assigned to your projects.
  • Coordinate with field crew supervisors regarding project requirements and collaborate with field staff to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Prioritize project timelines for yourself and your team.
  • Oversee QA/QC scheduling.
  • Monitor each project to guarantee client satisfaction with services and deliverables, ensuring all aspects of the project scope are fully executed.
  • Review daily timesheets of assigned staff for your projects.
  • Assist with project estimates as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) or (PLS) in Florida; additional licensure in Georgia is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven track record in project management within Site Development and surveying.
  • Familiarity with MicroStation and GEOPAK, including Civil 3D or equivalent experience in transportation surveying project management and knowledge of DOT Location & Surveys processes and standards.
  • Experience in Subsurface Utility Engineering is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history is required.
