Cytotechnologist Position

Lighthouse Lab Services is a leading provider of laboratory personnel, and we are currently working with a laboratory near Danville, PA that is seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join their team. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in laboratory testing, ensuring the accurate evaluation of gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens.

• Screen and evaluate specimens for possible malignant or related abnormal conditions
• Perform microscopic evaluation of cytological specimens following laboratory procedures and workload policies
• Ensure proper documentation of workload recording, including screening and non-screening activities as required by CLIA and laboratory guidelines
• Meet slide screening requirements as per standard operating procedure
• Finalize testing results into the computer in an accurate and timely manner

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university
• Successful completion of an accredited Cytology program
• ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification is required
• Prior experience working in Cytology is preferred
• Thin Prep certification is a plus

• Competitive hourly rate: $30-45/hour
