About the Role

The **Processing Manager 1st Shift** is a key member of our operations team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of our meat receiving, handling, processing, and smokehouse operations. This role requires a proactive and servant leader with a strong floor presence, who can drive continuous improvement and lead high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow teams using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean manufacturing principles
  • Improve safety, increase efficiency, deliver quality, and ensure cost control
  • Develop and implement process improvements to drive business results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Monitor and administer the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in production management, with at least one assignment in packaging operations
  • Experience with meat products and meat processing preferred, but not required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, engineering, food science, or related field
  • Knowledge of FSIS/USDA/FDA regulations
