Job Title: Information Technology Director

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead the IT department and oversee the development and implementation of IT projects and initiatives. As an IT Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall security of our network, telecommunication devices, and security as it relates to HIPAA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the IT department and oversee the development and implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure the overall security of our network, telecommunication devices, and security as it relates to HIPAA.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of statewide IT projects and initiatives on behalf of the district.
  • Represent District 4 by attending relevant statewide meetings and representing the IT department at local district meetings.
  • Manage the development, daily operation, and support of production information systems.
  • Oversee the work of staff involved in programming, computer operations, vendor interface, and support services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of directly related supervisory/management experience.
  • OR five years of directly related supervisory/management experience.
  • OR one year of experience at the lower-level Mgr., Information Technology (ITM020) or position equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Public Health experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with VHN.
  • Experience with VolP phone systems.
  • Basic Network Troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Technical understanding of networked data.
  • Hyper-V or VMware.
  • Meraki Firewalls.
  • Experience creating and editing Group Policy Objects.
  • Microsoft Server 2012 or 2016, and proficient Microsoft Office Skills.
