Job Overview

Milwaukee Burger Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including supervision of kitchen staff and staffing levels, safety and sanitation, housekeeping, and food production activities.
  • Ensure smooth kitchen operations, focusing on quality and addressing any unexpected problems or emergencies that may arise.
  • Manage a team of 15-20 staff members, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, and develop their skills through training, mentoring, and leadership.
  • Maintain food quality and safety standards, overseeing all phases of food procurement, production, and service, including inventory management, storage and rotation, food preparation, recipe adherence, plate presentation, and service time standards.
  • Conduct daily line checks and food reviews, respond to guest feedback, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of kitchen management experience in a full-service, moderate to high-volume restaurant.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven success in driving sales, controlling labor and food costs, and culinary talent.
  • Ability to motivate teamwork and maintain high retention rates.
