Position Summary:The role involves ensuring that the premises of retail, hospitality, healthcare, and other institutional facilities are kept in pristine condition through various cleaning tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Polish and clean lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Maintain cleanliness in rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
- Perform sweeping, scrubbing, finishing, and polishing of floors.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
- Clean windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays.
- Transport trash and waste to designated disposal areas.
The work environment may include exposure to high places and various airborne particles. Noise levels can vary, sometimes being loud.
Physical Requirements:Employees must be able to stand, walk, use hands for various tasks, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and communicate effectively. Frequent lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds is required.
Qualifications:To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the ability to follow simple instructions and communicate effectively in English. No prior experience or training is necessary.
Mathematical Skills:Basic addition and subtraction skills are required, along with the ability to perform operations using American money and measurements.
