Job Description & Requirements

Job Summary:
AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. As an RRT, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient services.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of respiratory care equipment.
  • Procure invasive and/or non-invasive laboratory samples for diagnostic study and administer medications within the realm of respiratory care policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Must be a graduate of an AMA-accredited respiratory care program.
  • Be state licensed and have obtained the credentials of CRTT/and/or RRT from the NBRC or its equivalent through experience or education.
  • Documented arrhythmias identification course.
  • CPR certified.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist, Adult.
  • Certifications: BLS-AHA; RRT.
