SalaryThe hourly range for this position is $26.25 - $39.25 per hour, with the actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate individual who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include providing direct patient care, monitoring the care provided by other ancillary personnel, and performing all duties and responsibilities in a way that demonstrates and supports the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion, and stewardship.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Graduate of a Registered Nursing Education program preferred;
- One-two years of experience preferred;
- Current South Dakota RN License or 'multi-state privilege' depending on location of clinic;
- Current BLS Certification within 60 days of hire.
Avera offers a competitive benefits package that includes immediate great wages, excellent health insurance, paid time off, and generous retirement plans. Additionally, this position may be eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.
Work ScheduleThis role requires a Day Shift schedule of 8:30am-5:00pm, working 80 hours every two weeks. No weekends, holidays, or on-call time are required.
