Job Title: Pharmacy Professional

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Professional to join our team at St. Mary's General Hospital in Passaic, NJ.

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Professional will work under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients across various departments, including general medicine, intensive care, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, emergency care, oncology, peri-operative, geriatrics, and outpatient services.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate pharmacy activities to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide medication therapy management and counseling to patients and families.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and medication usage.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have a current state Registered Pharmacist License and a B.S. degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Experience in hospital pharmacy operations is preferred, as well as BLS and ACLS certification.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
