We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Partner to join our team at Paulding Hospital. As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse, focusing on promoting a positive patient experience and assisting with daily living activities and comfort measures.
- Assist other healthcare providers with safe, age-appropriate, and culturally aware care by performing basic patient care functions, such as ADLs, ambulation, and vital signs.
- Participate in hourly patient rounding, answer telephone and call lights promptly, and resolve patient concerns or escalate to the charge nurse if necessary.
- Proactively offer assistance and comfort measures to patients and families, and present yourself in a positive and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient-centered care, support initiatives, and participate in unit performance improvement initiatives.
- Rising senior in good standing or GED equivalent.
- Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
- Ability to follow detailed directions, strong interpersonal skills, clear verbal and written communication, and ability to work individually and as part of a team.
