Personal Care Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with maintaining good personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Check vital signs and perform bowel and bladder management assistance as needed.
  • Help maintain a healthful and safe environment for residents.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals, and assist with medication management as directed by registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.
  • Support therapy personnel with rehabilitative processes and carry out assignments per home health care plans as instructed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and licensure required by state regulations.
  • Completion of a basic aide training program consistent with state and federal requirements.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid state driver's license and good driving record.
