Position Overview:
The Cybersecurity Quality Assurance Engineer will be an integral member of a specialized team dedicated to enhancing cyber analysis and development capabilities to meet the demands of the Navy and Department of Defense (DoD) for Cyber Situational Awareness (SA), Cyber Command and Control (C2), Mission Assurance, and Homeland Defense.

Key Responsibilities:
The role encompasses the identification of critical cyber terrain through the analysis of operational requirements, conducting thorough cyber assessments, and executing modeling and simulation to address various cyber threat scenarios.

The team will perform cyber evaluations to uncover potential vulnerabilities and risks, assess mission and operational impacts, and provide actionable mitigation strategies.

Additionally, support will involve the creation of methodologies and frameworks to facilitate the cyber risk assessment lifecycle.

Capabilities Offered:
Our team is committed to delivering rapid design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and operational support for specific software and hardware solutions tailored to current Cyber Defensive requirements.

Compensation:
$45-55/hour
Compensation may vary based on various factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefits:
Benefit packages for this position will commence on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as options for HSA, FSA, and DCFSA accounts, along with access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching.

Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as mandated by applicable law.

Qualifications:
- Experience in custom software development projects.
- Background in working with DoD clients.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity initiatives.
- Knowledge of gherkin and cucumber is advantageous.
- Top Secret Clearance required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in establishing and implementing quality control standards for tactical software testing within Navy or Joint Programs.
- Proficiency in system testing metrics, best practices, and methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with software development teams.
- Involvement in requirements and design reviews, developing test plans, and executing test cases in a dynamic software development environment.
- Skills in data analysis, verification, and problem-solving.
- Experience with statistical reporting and analysis.
- Expertise in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Unix/Linux, PERL, JavaScript) and relational database technologies (SQL, schema design).
