**Estimated Salary:** $65-$90 per hour (based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

**Job Description**

As a MRI Technologist at Focus Staff, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. You will work under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative, to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care utilizing efficient and safe processes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform patient studies according to set protocol including placing specified coil close to area of interest.
  • Operate imaging and other equipment devices so that quality diagnostic services are provided.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures to address patient concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and monitoring patients via closed circuit TV.

**Requirements**

  • Have two years of regular continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS.
  • Must be fully proficient in MRI and have knowledge of required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization.
