Job Summary:

The CVT Assembler will be responsible for assembling high-performance cartridge valves through documented assembly procedures, ensuring that the build meets engineering specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly on cartridge valves working with very small parts.
  • Perform repetitive assembly tasks on order quantities from 50-200+.
  • Ensure process procedures are followed to maintain high quality of production while meeting work area quotas.
  • Develop knowledge of Sun product lines while learning to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Housekeeping of assembly area, including sweeping and vacuuming, to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Communicate progress of incomplete work orders and issues to the next shift.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to learn and grow through on-the-job training and development opportunities.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow directions and procedures.
  • Ability to read drawings and blueprints is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Team player mentality and positive attitude.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing (6-8 hours).
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
