Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Observation Unit, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or eligibility for licensure under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
- Preferred experience in Progressive Care (PCU), Telemetry, and/or Medical/Surgical units.
