Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Head Usher. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front of house spaces, supervising a team of volunteer ushers, and providing exceptional customer service to our patrons.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare front of house spaces for events, including setting up seating, restocking supplies, and ensuring the overall appearance of the space is clean and welcoming.
• Supervise a team of volunteer ushers, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure they are providing excellent customer service.
• Oversee safety and crowd management during events, responding promptly to any issues that may arise.
• Greet patrons and assist with any issues they may have, providing a positive and professional experience.
• Train and onboard new volunteer ushers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, event services, and/or house management experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
