What We Offer:

As a Project Archaeologist at TRC Companies, you'll have the opportunity to work on large-scale and small-scale projects in Texas and New Mexico, with the possibility of working in other states as well. You'll be responsible for directing all types of archaeological projects, from small local surveys to large, multi-year, multi-state projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all types of archaeological projects, ranging from small local surveys through large, multi-year, multi-state projects.
• Handle planning, logistics, and supervision of fieldwork for projects as assigned and author reports, under the direction of the Project Manager/Principal Investigator.
• Promote TRC safety and quality standards, policies, and procedures and ensure field employees comply.
• Ensure that all work and data collected are accurate, organized, and of high quality.
• Abide by Company policies and procedures.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• An MA in anthropology or archaeology with at least two years of experience in managing fieldwork and report experience is strongly preferred.
• New Mexico experience is required.

Compensation:

Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation:

Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
