Automotive Refinisher

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Refinisher to join our team at CarMax. As an Automotive Refinisher, you will be responsible for ensuring that our vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and appearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cosmetic inspections of vehicles to identify areas that require attention
• Repair and replace small parts to ensure that vehicles are in good working order
• Perform paint retouching, post-paint finishing, waxing, and buffing to restore vehicles to their original condition
• Follow and promote CarMax's high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization

Requirements

• Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: washing, waxing, cleaning, and buffing, masking, sanding, grinding, and applying paint; removing and replacing small parts, carrying out minor repairs
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy objects and walk/stand for extended periods
• Customer focus and attention to detail
• Possession of a valid driver's license
