Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school-based team in Tucson, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs and IEP goals.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and adjust therapy as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for speech and language goals.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Arizona state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
