Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced veterinary assistant to join our team at our Rincon, GA location. As a veterinary assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient exams, surgeries, and medical procedures
  • Provide compassionate care to patients, including administering medications and performing routine tasks
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
  • Communicate effectively with clients and veterinary team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant or in a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
